Chelsea Handler got even more candid than usual in a raunchy new interview, during which she admitted to going on a date with Bobby Flay, said she feels bad for Kanye West and shared how she got drunk in a theater with Florence Henderson two months before the Brady Bunch star died.
When confronted with a list of men she’s rumored to have dated during an interview with Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club, the comedian shared how she wound up on a date with Flay, who divorced his third wife, actress Stephanie March, last year.
Like always her celebrity status has once again triggered curiosity among her fan regarding her current relationship status. The 42-year-old television personality previously dated the popular personalities including 50 Cent, Dave Salmoni, David Alan Grier, Ted Harbert and André Balazs in the past.
The streaming service doesn’t divulge viewership numbers, but word of mouth on the talk show is abysmal. In June 2014, Handler reportedly inked a million deal with Netflix to produce a stand-up special, a documentary series (“Chelsea Does”) and an entirely novel kind of talk show. Worst of all is a recurring dinner party series where stars like Chris Evans and the cast of “Captain America” talk about their project while eating. Like many outsiders looking in who’ve knocked hard enough on the Hollywood window, Handler’s shattered the glass barrier. Celebrities don’t fear her outlandish questions anymore. She does little to chip away at their carefully crafted Hollywood images, and the chats lumber along as a result.
And its showrunner, Bill Wolff, has already jumped ship. Pundits were skeptical — how does a late-night show work when you can stream it whenever you want? In 2016, fewer people are actually watching late-night shows as they air. The roundtable nerds from “Lately” — Brad Wollack, Loni Love, Heather Mc Donald — are also missed. And Chunk, the host’s adorable dog sidekick, is no Chuy Bravo. If Handler rediscovers that bite that we love, that willingness to excoriate her victims with a laugh, perhaps “Chelsea” can have a long life on Netflix.
Viewers binge You Tube clips of vehicular karaoke, lip-sync showdowns and cute Jennifer Lawrence confessions the morning after at the office when the boss isn’t around — perfect for Handler’s format.
"He attended the Hugo Boss event in NYC last night," says the onlooker. "We were talking about living our lives together, my boyfriend and I.
"He was mingling and hanging with his guy friends." The duo first split in November 2011 after less than a year of dating. We've broken up a couple of times and gotten back together, and we're trying to figure out how to live a life together."But she did admit that the couple faced a big issue: a long-distance relationship.
