This mod is derived from daxnitro's GLSL Shaders Mod. Some shaderpacks render around 10 times slower than vanilla Minecraft. -- Select a profile (lower left corner of launcher window). A day later I did some stuff on my machine (that was on ubuntu studio), like: sudo apt-get update, and made a system-wide update with the update manager, and I`ve set up a minecraft 1.6 server.

It looked green because it was also raining which changes how things look. Some grass is nearly parallel with sun light, so it casts no shadow and some is at different angle, it has shadow.
